The essential oil obtained from green anise, Pimpinella anisum, has important healthy properties: it helps indeed the digestion, it is able to fluidify the catarrh and can relieve the cough. Do not use during pregnancy, breastfeeding or in children.

Poor digestion, meteorism

Thanks to the antispasmodic and digestive properties the anise essential oil improves digestion and soothes problems related to the stomach and meteorism. You can take two drops of anise essential oil in a teaspoon of honey twice a day or, in case of stomach ache or abdominal pain, you can mix 4 drops of anise essential oil in a tablespoon of sweet almond oil and massage the part until the oil is absorbed.

Catarrh, cough

In case of cough, bronchitis, catarrh or asthma you can massage the chest with a tablespoon of sweet almond oil and 4-5 drops of anise essential oil.

Bad Breath

You can add a drop of anise essential oil to your toothpaste or mouthwash as a remedy for bad breath.

Problems, rigidity

You can diffuse the anise essential oil or breathe it from an handkerchief in order to improve optimism, your ability to understand and adaptation. In case of daily problems this essential oil helps to relax and, thanks to its slightly euphoric effect, it results very useful if you are too rigid.
