Cardamom, scientific name Elettaria cardamomum, is a spice belonging to the Zingiberaceae family. From cardamom, through steam distillation of the dried seeds, an essential oil with tonic, digestive, carminative and antiseptic properties is obtained. Problems of stomach

Cardamom essential oil is useful to soothe digestive problems, sour stomach, flatulence, vomit and swollen belly. Try to mix 4 drops of cardamom essential oil and 1 tablespoon of sweet almond oil, massage this lotion on the stomach and belly with slow and circular movements until it has been completely absorbed. This essential oil can also be helpful in case of bad breath, gargle by using a glass of water and 3-4 drops of cardamom essential oil.

Headache

You can massage on the sides and central part of your head with a lotion prepared by mixing a tablespoon of wheat germ oil and 3 drops of cardamom essential oil.

Mental and physical tiredness

Cardamom essential oil is helpful in case of mental and physical tiredness. Useful to treat mental fatigue, especially if you are inflexible, a person that uses to ask too much to himself/herself and other people. In addition to this, this oil brings a serene vision during moments of crisis, when you think that there isn’t any possibility to improve your situation, it helps get through bad situations and promotes the love for yourself. You can diffuse the cardamom essential oil in the room with an oil burner, 1 drop each square meter. In alternative, also a bath can help you, add ten drops of essential oil in the water and stay for 15 minutes.
