Against mosquitoes
The geranium essential oil is a useful remedy to keep away mosquitoes, for this reason it is common to see geranium plants on the balconies. In order to benefit from the anti-monsquitoes properties of the geranium essential oil you can diffuse it in the room by adding 1 drop per m2 in the oil burner, or you can add some drops on the sofas and curtains. It is possible to use the geranium essential oil also for the body, in this case mix some drops in your body cream or in a vegetable oil and apply.
Skin
Thanks to its healing properties this essential oil can be used in case of oily skin, acne, pores, dull skin and more in general in case of skin irritations. The geranium essential oil can also be used in case of sunburns . Mix 1-2 drops of the essential oil to your face or body cream and apply. Alternatively, in case of acne you can add 8 drops of geranium essential oil to 200 ml of cold water, soak some gauzes and apply them on your skin.
Circulation
Add two drops of geranium essential oil to your body cream and massage from bottom to top in order to improve the circulation, especially in the legs.
Harmonising effect
It gives relief in case of physical and mental stress, gives calm and harmony and is useful against tension. Helpful also in case of low self esteem, you can diffuse the essential oil in the room or you can inhale 2-3 drops on a handkerchief during the day.
