Manuka, scientific name Leptospermum scoparium, is a plant native to new Zeland and Australia. Acne, mycosis, candida infections, wounds, blisters, warts and insect bites

Manuka essential oil is a powerful antiseptic and antiviral remedy and can be applied, also pure, on pimples, nail fungus, cold sores or warts. This essential oil results useful also to counteract candida infections, in this case a sitz bath can be helpful, you just have to add 10 drops of essential oil to the water.

In addition to this, this essential oil is characterized by a high healing action, for this reason, in case of wounds or blisters, you can apply a drop of manuka essential oil for a quick healing. Finally, in case of insect bites, also of wasps, a drop of manuka essential oil has an immediate action of relief.

Blisters or ulcers in the mouth, stomatitis and hoarseness

You can use manuka essential oil in order to prepare gargles, useful against sore throat, hoarseness or to rinse the mouth in order to treat blisters, ulcers, stomatitis. Bring to boil a cup of water, remove from the heat and let it cool down. Add 2 drops of manuka essential oil and gargle or rinse the mouth.

Rheumatism, muscle pain

Mix a tablespoon of a plant based oil, for example you can use wheat germ oil, and 3 drops of manuka essential oil, apply on the part with slow circular movements.

Fear, anxiety, panic

You can diffuse the essential oil in the room or you can pour a few drops on a handkerchief and breathe when you need the most. Manuka essential oil acts with a stabilizing action, gives you power and, for this reason, it is suitable for those people who have a low self confidence and feel vulnerable. Useful also in case of anxiety, fears and panic attack. In particular, after a sudden shock you can breathe the aroma of manuka essential oil, this will help you feel safe and calm.
