From Vanilla planifolia the vanilla essential oil is obtained, sweet and full of interesting properties. However, it has a photosensitizing effect, for this reason it is better to avoid using the essential oil before sun exposure or sunlamp. This essential oil acts on problems related to spleen and pancreas, it is helpful in case of sour stomach or diseases of the gastro enteric tract, in addition to this it balances, strengthens and protects dull skin and dull hair, it promotes menstruation and has an antispasmodic effect. From an emotional point of view, it has a calming effect in case of depression, it gives serenity and helps you appreciate little things of the daily life.
Hair and skin
To tone your skin but also to make your hair silky, soft and glossy, you can use the vanilla essential oil. In case of dull skin or wrinkles, you can add 2-3 drops of essential oil to your daily face cream and apply, for your hair you can add 5-7 drops of vanilla essential oil to your conditioner and massage the scalp, apply till the tips of the hair, let stand for 5 minutes, then rinse.
In case of problems of stomach, spleen or pancreas but also spasms as a consequence of painful periods you can massage the abdomen in this way: mix 5 drops of vanilla essential oil and a tablespoon of sweet almond oil and apply.
In order to benefit from the calming and anti-stress properties of the vanilla essential oil you can diffuse it in the room with an oil burner, one drop each square meter, or you can add 8-10 drops of essential oil in 100 ml of a vegetable oil, sweet almond oil for example, and massage your body in order to relieve tensions and anxiety. You can also massage wrists with a drop of essential oil together with a vegetable oil, extra virgin olive oil or sweet almond oil, this will help calm the nervous system.
