Ingredients for 4 people
320 grams of durum wheat spaghetti
1 kg of fresh and ripe tomatoes
1 clove of garlic
3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
Rinse the tomatoes and cook them for a minute in lightly salted boiling water. Drain the tomatoes and pass them under a jet of cold water, peel them and cut them in half. If you prefer, you can also remove the seeds. Chop the tomato pulp and pour it into a large bowl, chop the garlic and add it to the tomato pulp. Pour three tablespoons of oil, a pinch of salt and basil leaves. Mix the seasoning well and let it sit for a couple of hours. In the meantime, cook the pasta, drain it al dente, pass it quickly under the jet of cold water and pour it into the bowl with the sauce. Here is a tasty dish with a summer flavor!
