Ingredients for 4 people
320 grams of durum wheat spaghetti
1 kg of fresh and ripe tomatoes
1 clove of garlic
3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
Rinse the tomatoes and cook them for a minute in lightly salted boiling water. Drain the tomatoes and pass them under a jet of cold water, peel them and cut them in half. If you prefer, you can also remove the seeds. Chop the tomato pulp and pour it into a large bowl, chop the garlic and add it to the tomato pulp. Pour three tablespoons of oil, a pinch of salt and basil leaves. Mix the seasoning well and let it sit for a couple of hours.
