Here is a very easy, tasty and healthy recipe, spaghetti with wild garlic pesto. Wild garlic can now be found in grocery stores and supermarkets and is appreciated for its powerful antioxidant, antispasmodic and antimicrobial properties, it calms also stomach pain and inflammation and is detoxifying.
320 grams of whole wheat spaghetti
150 grams of wild garlic
20 basil leaves
50 grams of almonds
2 tablespoons of parmesan cheese
Extra virgin olive oil
Rinse the leaves of wild garlic and basil and dry them. Blend the wild garlic in the mixer together with the basil, almonds and a few grains of coarse salt. Then add the parmesan cheese and blend again for a few seconds. Pour the pesto into a bowl and add 7-8 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil to give a creamy consistency. Boil the pasta in salted water and drain it al dente. Season the pasta with wild garlic pesto and enjoy this special meal!
