Breakfast time is waiting for you with sweetness and energy! Here for you a wonderful recipe, almond butter, that you can spread on a slice of brown bread. Creamy and sweet but also very healthy. Almonds are indeed rich in essential fatty acids, useful to keep under control the levels of cholesterol in blood, but almonds are also a high energy food, perfect to face very busy days at school or at work. In addition to this, almonds are a source of vitamins, such as E and group B, and mineral salts such as potassium, magnesium, manganese, calcium and phosphorus.

Ingredients

250 g of whole almonds

2 teaspoons of whole cane sugar

a pinch of vanilla powder

Soy or rice milk

Pour the almonds in a food processor together with the sugar and the vanilla powder. Process these ingredients until creamy, you should stop and scrape down the sides every now and then. Then, after 20-30 minutes, the almonds will release their oil and the almond butter will be ready. Finally add soy or rice milk until the desired consistency is reached. Pour the butter in a jar and keep in the fridge.
