This recipe is really surprising! We are speaking about the sweet chickpea mousse with coffee, for the lovers of this drink, or chocolate, for everybody. It can be a snack or a dessert, yummy, rich in antioxidants, plant based proteins and energy. Moreover, thanks to the chickpeas, this recipe is also rich in mineral salts such as potassium, calcium, magnesium and phosphorus.
Ingredients
300 g cooked salt-free chickpeas
2 tablespoons of maple syrup
1 teaspoon of soluble coffee
1 cup of coffee drink
Vanilla powder
Coffee beans and chopped almonds for decoration
If you don’t like coffee, you can substitute it with 40 g dark chocolate 70%
Put in the mixer the chickpeas, the coffee, the soluble coffee, the maple syrup and half a teaspoon of vanilla powder. In alternative, if you prefer the chocolate taste, melt in a water bath the chocolate and add it in the mixer with the chickpea, the maple syrup and the vanilla. Blend all the ingredients until smooth, for a creamy consistency you can add a little rice milk, but also soy milk can be used. Pour the mousse in a bowl and keep in the fridge for about one hour. Put the mousse in small cups, decorate with coffee beans or chopped almond and serve!
