Muffins with chocolate chips are very easy to prepare, they are tasty and, if you use the right ingredients, such as no refined flour, extra virgin olive oil, whole cane sugar, the muffins are also a recipe pleasing to the palate that does not cause too high levels of blood sugar. They provide energy without dangerous effects.
2 tablespoons of wheat starch or potato starch
Semi whole grain spelt flour until the total amount of wheat starch and flour is 300 g
30 g whole cane sugar
135 ml of milk, that could be cow or plant-based milk
30 g of extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon of cake yeast
A pinch of vanilla powder
2 tablespoons of chocolate chips
Begin with mixing all the liquid ingredients, oil and milk, with the egg. In another bowl mix the flour, the wheat starch, the yeast and the vanilla powder, then pour the compound in the bowl with the liquids. Mix well, then add the chocolate chips and pour all the ingredients in the muffin wrappers. Cook in the oven at 180° for 15 minutes.
