How to wait for midnight and welcome the new year in a special way? Here for you the chocolate fondue with fresh fruit, a tasty, healthy and enjoyable way to spend your time. The recipe indeed is rich in antioxidants guaranteed by dark chocolate, that has also a protective role for what concerns the heart and the immune system, and by fruit, seasonal and fresh. And the chocolate fondue is so good that you’ll want to celebrate in this way not just for New Year’s Eve!
Ingredients for 4 persons
Fresh fruit (Pineapple, oranges, mandarins, banana, kiwi fruit)
200 g of dark chocolate
200 ml of soy milk
50 g of ground almonds
Peel and cut into coarse pieces the fruits. Put all the pieces of fruit in a large plate and squeeze some lemon juice. Melt the chocolate in a water bath together with a tablespoon of plant based milk. Keep on stirring and add little by little the rest of the milk. Cook on a low heat until all the ingredients will be perfectly mixed. Pour the chocolate in a pot for fondue, add the ground almonds and take to the table on the dedicated stove. By using the fondue fork dip the fruit in the chocolate.
