For the most cold days here are two drinks that you can easily prepare in order to warm your body thanks to the sweet aroma of the spices. We propose two drinks: one prepared with hibiscus tea, rich in antioxidants and able to protect the walls of the blood vessels, the other with apple juice, detox and sweet. The added spices help to warm the body and have also digestive properties. Both the drinks are non-alcoholic.

Hibiscus drink

2 tablespoons of dried hibiscus

1 star anise

1 cinnamon stick

5 cloves

2 cardamom pods

Apple drink

1 liter of apple juice

1 cinnamon stick

5 cloves

2 cardamom pods

Peel of lemon, orange, tangerine, dog-rose

Hibiscus drink

Bring to boil one liter of water, add the hibiscus and all the spices and boil for ten minutes. Strain and drink.

Apple drink

This drink is typical of the Christmas markets in the north of Italy, let’s see how to prepare it. Bring to boil the apple juice together with the spices and the peel of the citrus fruits. As soon as it begins to boil, remove from heat and leave to brew for 5 minutes.

Then strain and drink.
