The perfect end of a good meal can be represented by the fruit salad, rich in nutrients, omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins. Here we propose the winter fruit salad with all fruit and dried fruit that can be found in this period of the year.
Ingredients
1 apple
3 oranges
3 kiwifruits
½ pineapple
2 dried figs
1 handful of dates
1 handful of raisins
1 tablespoon of almonds
1 tablespoon of hazelnuts
10 walnuts
1 lemon
½ Pomegranate
cinnamon
Squeeze an orange and soak raisins and the dried figs cut into pieces in its juice. Peel the oranges, the kiwifruits and the apple and cut them into pieces. Cut the pineapple into pieces, too. Squeeze the lemon and pour the juice on the fruit in order to avoid the oxidation. Chop coarsely the dried fruit, cut the dates into small cubes and deseed the pomegranate. Mix the fresh and dried fruit in a bowl, add raisins, the dried figs, the orange juice and a teaspoon of cinnamon. Stir well with a spoon. In order to give a little extra to your fruit salad you can add a glass in which you’ve mixed 100 ml of white wine and water. Serve with vanilla soy ice cream.
