Acerola (Malpighia glabra) is a plant that grows mostly in Central and South America. The fruit is an excellent source of vitamin C, it contains also vitamins of group B, mineral salts such as iron, calcium, magnesium and potassium, and antioxidants. It revitalizes the body and modulates the production of histamine. It should be taken as a supplement to each season change, to strengthen the immune system and fight against flu and colds. In general the dosage is 5mg for kilogram body weight, to be taken between meals and preferably divided into two doses. If you are ill try 3-4 tablets per day until improvement.
