Banana is a fruit rich in fibers and sugars. The banana is a high-energy fruit and this makes it an ideal snack in case of tiredness and physical and mental effort. The banana reduces the sense of hunger, but given the large calorie intake, it is better not to eat more than one banana a day. It also seems that, according to a Japanese research, the more a banana is ripe with dark spots on the skin, the more antioxidants contains with beneficial effect for humans for the prevention of cancer.
