Common dogwood, scientific name Cornus sanguinea, is a shrub that belongs to the Cornaceae family with a dark red bark and useful properties. Thanks to its buds, indeed, a glycerin macerate with a healthy action is prepared. This glycerin macerate is in fact able to regulate the thyroid in case of hyperthyroidism and is useful as an antithrombotic. You can take the glycerin macerate of common dogwood, 50 drops from 1 to 3 times a day in a little water a quarter of an hour before meals. You can also benefit from the synergy of common dogwood with other macerates to enhance its effect, in fact, in case of goiter it is possible to combine it with rosehip macerate and to treat the hyperthyroidism the combination is with the glycerin macerate of Viburnum lantana, the viburnum.
