English plantain

English plantain is a plant that grows spontaneously on the edges of meadows, paths and on the mountains. This plant has astringent and anti-inflammatory properties, can heal wounds and block bleeding, it is useful in case of hemorrhoids, insect and animal bites. In addition to this, English plantain is also able to fortify the immune system and results helpful to treat cold, sinusitis, allergy and bronchitis, thanks to the expectorant properties.

Fresh juice

Grind some leaves of plantain and apply them on wounds or insect bites. The remedy can heal and give relief in case of itching and irritations.

Herbal tea

Leave to brew one tablespoon of English plantain leaves in a cup of boiling water for 10 minutes, strain and drink up to two cups a day.
