There are many varieties of apples, here we talk about green apple or Granny Smith, characterized by a green peel and a slightly acidulous pulp. Pectin has the power to reduce both absorption and production of cholesterol and is capable to stabilize the glycemic levels. The substances contained in the green apple also help to keep blood pressure under control and strengthen the immune system. To get the most benefit from green apple, it is better not to peel it, but it should be washed and dried very well, in fact also by drying the fruit many dangerous substances such as pesticides are removed. Alternatively, in case of meteorism, you can prepare a juice by centrifuging a green apple with peel, 2 kiwis, 1cm of ginger root and half a teaspoon of cinnamon powder.
