Pomegranate contains vitamins, such as vitamin C, K, of group B, but also potassium, iron, calcium and magnesium. This fruit has remarkable antioxidant properties, it protects arteries, prevents arteriosclerosis and is helpful to reduce the bad cholesterol LDL. In addition to this properties, pomegranate improves concentration, increases mental clarity, acts as an anti-inflammatory on cartilage and, according to scientific studies, it protects the prostate and the breast with an anticancer action. Recent studies prove also the role of the pomegranate to contrast some menopausal symptoms, such as bones problems or mood swings. You can consume the pomegranate juice, that you find in health food stores, or as a fruit.
Juice
To improve the mental clarity drink ½ glass per day of pomegranate juice for a month. To ensure the health of the prostate, the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity, drink a shot of juice in the morning before breakfast. You can produce pomegranate juice from yourself too: you’ll need just a squeezer.
