Royal jelly is a substance that is produced by worker bees to feed the larvae and the queen bee, it contains sugar, proteins, vitamins, such as vitamin B9 or folic acid, and other vitamins of group B, including vitamin B5 or pantothenic acid useful for skin health, against dandruff and aging processes, mineral salts, such as iron, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, copper, manganese, silicon. Royal jelly is a very energetic food, able to improve the immune system defenses, with anti-inflammatory and anticancer properties. This remedy brings beneficial effects during periods of stress and fatigue, change of season, during convalescence or after very heavy drug treatments, in case of recurrent infections, by making our body more resistant. It results able to lower the level of blood cholesterol and it is also an appetite stimulant. You may take the royal jelly in the morning, without food, holding it under the tongue for a few minutes. The recommended dose for adults is 1 gr, 500 mg for children for a month.
