What we can do against dark skin spots? They may happen especially over 40 years old because of sun exposure, but they can also happen at any age and the causes can be hormonal or the consequence of inflammatory processes such as acne. The functionality of the melanocytes, the cells responsible for the production of melanin, the pigment that determines the color of the skin, alters, the melanin is produced in excess and the results are the dark spots. The natural remedies can help in this case thanks to particular vegetable oils and essential oils, according to slow cosmetique, the movement that focuses the attention on the needs of the skin. In particular, to counteract skin aging and hyperpigmentation, very suitable are the following plant based oils, the wheat germ oil, rich in essential fatty acids and vitamins such as A and E, powerful antioxidants, and K, which reduces signs on the skin and improves elasticity, and the oil of rosa mosqueta, with omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids and vitamins, including K. These oils help to restore the hydrolipidic film of the skin, protect and strengthen it and eliminate or at least reduce spots on skin. Among the essential oils that can be used a good choice is represented by the essential oil of carrot, perfect against skin spots as it acts by depigmenting them. This essential oil, however, must always be used diluted in vegetable oil, do not apply it directly on the skin.
