Spirulina is a green-blue microalgae that lives in lakes, therefore it contains little iodine. This algae is rich of healthy substances and nutrients, so much that it is counted among the “super foods”. Spirulina is reach in chlorophyll, an antioxidant that helps against free radicals, is able to strengthen the immune system and can also purify the body from heavy metals.
