The sulla, Hedysarium Coronarium, is a plant of the Fabaceae family that grows spontaneously in the countries of the Mediterranean basin. From the pollination by the bees of the sulla flowers you get a very appreciated honey with healthy properties, rich in vitamins A, B and C, and mineral salts such as potassium, magnesium, iron, zinc, copper and manganese. The sulla honey is an energizing food, it provides indeed energy that can be used immediately and is therefore a good choice for sporty persons or those who have to face hard and busy days. This honey has a detoxifying power, acting above all on the liver by helping remove toxins. It is a diuretic, useful to counteract water retention but also helps in case of high blood pressure and has also a laxative action. Also suitable to treat sore throats and coughs, you can take a teaspoon of honey spread on the bread or add it to a cup of milk, also plant-based milk is fine, when the drink is cooling down in order to not alter the properties of honey.
