Wakame seaweed is a brown seaweed native to Japan but also cultivated in Europe. This type of seaweed is the most important ingredient of the miso soup and is a very healthy choice because it is rich in proteins, vitamins, such as A, D, of group B and mineral salts such as magnesium, potassium, iron, calcium and iodine, the latter important for the proper functioning of the thyroid. The wakame seaweed contributes to the purification of the liver and intestine, and is helpful in case of tiredness of the body and poor concentration.
