On the spice road, the Samarkand ginger mask
An almost mythical city, located at the crossroads of the silk road and the spice route, the center of trade in the ancient world so much that even Alexander the Great reached it to conquer it, we are talking about Samarkand, in eastern Uzbekistan, the destination of our incredible journey. Samarkand bewitches those who visit it with its buildings with a thousand domes and columns and with its wonderful blue mosaics. If we close our eyes we can imagine the work behind them, aligning lapis lazuli tiles in a masterpiece that has endured the centuries. Today we want to bring Samarkand to all our homes, and we thought of doing it by preparing a face mask with a special spice, which long ago passed right from Samarkand to reach the West, ginger!
