How it is possible to start the day in the best way? For sure a good breakfast is essential but you can also practice with little exercises that help face the day with a lot of benefits for the mind, that is calm without all the bad thoughts that are suffocating it, and for the body. The sequence that we’ll learn today is useful to remove the tensions, make the joints more elastic and improve concentration and balance.
Start the sequence with the mountain pose. Stand on the yoga mat, the legs are slightly spread and the arms are along the sides, close the eyes and breathe. Focus your attention on the breath.
Spread the toes of the left foot in order to have a stable balance. Put the right leg on the left one, the toes of the right foot are looking towards the ground or, if you can, hook the left calf.
Raise the arms and, with the right arm, wrap the left arm. The palms of the hands touch. Bend the elbows. Stay in the pose for some breaths. Repeat now with the other leg and, without judging, try to observe if there are some differences between the two sides of the body.
