The pilates exercise of today is really easy but very beneficial. It helps indeed reshape the body, slim legs and hips, tone the abs and the glutes.
Moreover, it makes also a massage of the backbone in order to remove all the tensions that can cause bad postures.
You are sitting on the mat. The legs are bent and the back straight. Go slightly backwards with the torso in order to lift the feet from the ground.
Stretch now the legs and grab the ankles with the hands.
Exhale and bend the back. In this way start to roll on the back, keep on grabbing your ankles. Roll until the toes reach the floor. The arms are slightly bent in order to balance the pose.
Go on rolling on the back in the other direction in order to return in the initial pose. Straight the back. Exhale and again roll backwards. The movement should be fluid. Repeat the exercise for 8 times.
