Today's pilates exercise is based on the figure of scissors and is ideal for reshaping the entire silhouette. The sequence we are going to practice, in fact, helps to strengthen the abdominals, back and glutes, slims the thighs and pleasantly stretches the muscles. You are on your back, stretch your legs upwards. Raise your head so as to look towards the navel. Bring your right leg towards the forehead and the left leg towards the mat. Then switch legs. Continue like this in a fluid, continuous motion.
To make the exercise deeper, now try to touch the ankle of the leg that approaches the forehead with your hands. Always continue with the movement of the scissors.
Then stop the movement and bring your legs back to the ground. Breathe. Then bend your knees and raise your pelvis. The hands support the back. Lower your pelvis slightly, it should not be vertical but slightly oblique. Continue with the movement of the scissors.
