The cat or tiger pose helps to improve the flexibility and elasticity of the backbone and to straighten the posture.
Get on all fours, like Figure A. Your knees should be set directly below your hips, your head is in a neutral position, eyes looking at the floor.
Exhale and round your spine toward the ceiling by starting from the lower back to the head. At the end you should have the chin towards your chest (Figure B).
Inhale and straighten your back by starting from the lower back. At the end you should be back to the first position on your hands and knees, eyes looking at the floor (Figure C).
Repeat the sequence twice.
