Sardulasana II (Cat pose II)

After the basic cat pose (Sardulasana), proposed in one of the previous lessons, this is its natural evolution. The pose helps make more flexible the backbone and allows you to focus your attention on the breath.

Get on all fours on your yoga mat. Perform all the movements of the basic cat pose for some breaths.

After 5-6 breaths, by exhaling, put your head slowly down and at the same time bend the right knee and bring it very close to your forehead. The back bends.

By inhaling, stretch backwards your right leg and rise your head.

Keep on for some breaths, by exhaling the back bends, the head gets down and the right knee bends and approaches the forehead, by inhaling the head rises and the leg stretches backwards.

Go back on all your fours and repeat the exercise with the other leg
