Here for you another stretching exercise of the meridians developed by Shizuto Masunaga, founding father of a style of shiatsu. The meridians are paths in which, according to the Chinese traditional medicine, the energy of the body flows. Every path is connected to an organ, in this case liver and gallbladder, and the stretching exercises benefit all these parts of the body.

Stretching of the meridian of the liver. Sit on the yoga mat, spread your legs as much as you can. Raise your arms above the head and, without bending forward the torso, try to reach the left foot with the hands. If you feel pain, stop and arrive just until it is possible for you. Raise the torso back in the initial pose, now bend it forward and touch with the hands the floor. Raise the torso again and try to reach the right foot, without bending forward. Go on, remember to breathe.

Stretching of the meridian of the gallbladder. You are sitting on the yoga mat. Cross the right leg on the left knee. The left elbow rests against the outer side of the right knee. Bend the torso and look over the right shoulder. Change now the body side
