The triangle is a yoga pose that recalls the number three, very important in yoga. Three are the main hindu deities, three are the parts of our essence, body, mind and breath, that benefit from this pose.
You are standing on the yoga mat, bring your arms up and move them like the branches of a tree on a breeze. Then, after some breaths, bring the arms at shoulder height, relax the muscles of arms and wrists and then stretch the arms, until the fingers of hands. Go on in this way for some breaths.
Let’s start with the triangle pose. You stand on the yoga mat, spread the legs. Spread also the arms and bring them up at shoulder height. Relax the muscles of shoulders, arms and wrists. Then stretch the arms like you did in the previous exercise. Focus your attention now on the left arm, bring it down towards the thigh until it is possible for you and lean the left hand on the thigh, the torso follows the movement. The right arm arrives until the ear. Stay in this pose, breathe.
Go up with the torso and bring down the arms. You can relax the knees by leaning the hands on the thighs and bending and straightening the legs. Repeat now the pose with the other arm.
