Today's yoga sequence helps to relax muscles and counteracts tension and pain, such as sciatica. Not only that, this yoga exercise develops heat, promotes detox processes and removes stagnation. And finally, a flexible body also means a flexible mind, able to adapt to events by releasing the energies to bring out talents and resources.
You are standing, your arms are at your sides, close your eyes and decide to dedicate this moment to yourself. Keeping your legs stiff, swing your body by taking side steps, each step makes you move your feet apart a little more.
Bend your knees and place your hands on your thighs. Exhale and rotate your torso to the right, the left shoulder goes down and the right one looks upwards. Inhale and return to the center. Then, exhale and rotate your torso to the left, this time the right shoulder is lowered and the left one rises. Go on like this.
Sit down, your legs are in front of you slightly bent. Put your arms under your knees, slide your torso forward and straighten your legs, go as far as you can, you don't have to feel pain.
Remove your arms, you are always sitting with your knees close to your chest. The arms pass under the knees. Take small steps forward, keeping your back straight. Continue until your legs are stretched out.
You are on your back, bring your right foot close to the left buttock, the knee falls outwards. The left foot rests on the right knee. With the right hand, plug the left nostril, breathe from the right nostril. After a few breaths, repeat on the other side.
Still with your back on the ground, your hands press against the floor. Stretch your legs up towards the ceiling. This position helps to counteract water retention. Stretch also your arms as you inhale. With the exhale, relax, then with the inhale stretch again.
Complete the sequence lying on your back, your eyes are closed, focus on your breath and feel the energy flowing inside you.
